NAME: dinitrogen pentoxide
FORMULA: N2O5
AUTHOR(YEAR): Yao(1982)

BIBLIOGRAPHY: F. Yao, I. Wilson, and H. Johnston, "Temperature-dependent ultraviolet absorption spectrum for dinitrogen pentoxide", J. Phys. Chem. 86, 3611-3615 (1982); DOI: 10.1021/j100215a023
COMMENTS: Measurements over the temperature range 223-300 K using a double-beam spectrophotometer; spectral resolution 1 nm between 200 and 340 nm and 0.18-0.9 nm between 200 and 300 nm

The temperature dependence of the absorption cross sections at 290-380 nm could be parameterized by the function

ln σ (in 10-19 cm2 molecule-1) = A + B (1000/T) + C (λ/T)

with A = 0.432537, B = 4.72848 K , C = 17.1269 K/nm
